Emma Kedmon is a struggling journalist who is desperate to save her career. After an undercover investigation at a nightclub goes wrong, her boss gives her one last chance. She promises to find a scandal involving Dylan Grayson, the famous captain of the Storm hockey team. Dylan is talented, rich, popular, and known for his wild private life. Emma believes getting close to him will give her the story she needs.

Using the false name Diana Cooper, Emma gets hired as Dylan’s personal assistant. Coach Alex Monroe wants someone to control Dylan before the most important games of the season. Emma must watch his sleep, food, training, parties, and alcohol. She even moves into Dylan’s apartment. Dylan hates the arrangement and immediately turns it into a battle.
