In 1920s Chicago, love can be as dangerous as the criminal world hiding behind the city’s wealth and glamour. Emilia Fairfax is a young woman raised in a rich but deeply controlling family. Emilia’s father, Alistair, cares about her but struggles to stand against his wife. Meanwhile, Viktor’s fixer Oliver Lang becomes an important figure whose true loyalties are more complicated than they first appear.
