Plot of Fold or Lose Her
Amy Collins is a young woman trapped in a cruel marriage that has slowly destroyed her confidence. Her wealthy husband, Serge, controls and humiliates her, treating her more like property than a partner. One terrible night, during another act of humiliation, Amy meets Chase, a mysterious man who appears to be homeless. Instead of hurting her, Chase helps her escape, pulling Amy into a world completely different from the life she knows.
Chase is not what he seems. Behind his dirty clothes and secret identity is a talented professional poker player with a dangerous past. He owes Vincent, a powerful crime boss and the man who trained him, millions of dollars. Vincent sees Chase as both his greatest creation and his property. When Chase is finally found, he is given a deadly chance to repay his debt through a high-stakes poker tournament. But Amy becomes part of the deal, and suddenly both of their lives depend on winning.
Most of the story takes place inside a luxury hotel and casino, where expensive suites, crowded poker rooms, private VIP tables, and glamorous tournament halls hide a violent criminal world. Amy enters this world with no experience, but she quickly learns that poker is not only about cards. It is about reading people, hiding fear, controlling emotions, and knowing when someone is lying. Under Chase's guidance, she begins to discover skills and courage she never knew she had.
Their biggest problems do not come only from the poker table. Serge refuses to accept losing control over his wife and continues to threaten them. Vincent constantly reminds Chase that freedom has a price. Scarlett, the rich and dangerous casino owner, also has a complicated history with Chase.
