Plot of Fine. I'll Marry Him Myself
Emma is a hardworking wedding planner who is determined to build a successful career without relying on her wealthy and demanding mother. Her latest event should be a glamorous wedding, but everything falls apart when Ivy, the spoiled fiancée of powerful banker Theo, secretly destroys the bride’s dress and wedding cake. When the groom refuses to pay, Emma is left responsible for her staff and their salaries. Theo agrees to cover the damage on one condition: Emma must take over the planning of his own wedding.
Emma enters Theo’s luxurious home and quickly discovers that working for him will not be easy. Ivy is beautiful, famous, unpredictable, and increasingly jealous of Emma. Theo and Ivy’s engagement is not based on romance but on a practical agreement, and their relationship becomes more unstable as Ivy demands real affection from him. Meanwhile, Theo becomes fascinated by Emma’s kindness, awkward honesty, and sense of responsibility. Their professional meetings turn into teasing conversations, quiet walks through the city, late-night talks in Emma’s apartment, and moments of attraction neither of them expected.
The situation becomes even more complicated because of John, Ivy’s brother and Theo’s best friend. John is immediately interested in Emma and tries to become closer to her, creating tension between the two men. Emma finds herself caught between John’s polite attention and Theo’s dangerous charm, while Ivy sees her as a threat and looks for ways to remove her from Theo’s life.
After a chaotic night at Theo’s mansion leads to a supposed crime scene and Ivy’s disappearance, Theo finally ends his arrangement with her. Soon he needs another woman beside him, especially as his public image becomes more important and he prepares to enter politics. Emma unexpectedly becomes the perfect candidate. What begins as another practical deal turns into a contract marriage, forcing them to live together and convince everyone that they are deeply in love. Their wedding happens quickly, but acting like a happy couple proves much harder than signing a contract.
Inside Theo’s mansion, at restaurants, glamorous parties, television studios, wedding venues, and Emma’s modest apartment, their fake relationship is constantly tested. Emma and Theo must learn personal details about each other, survive public interviews, deal with jealous exes, suspicious journalists, family pressure, and John’s growing feelings. A major television interview even threatens to expose their marriage as a lie when Ivy publicly challenges their story.
As Emma tries to protect the agreement, she also struggles with her own insecurity and fear of disappointing others. Theo, meanwhile, begins to question whether the woman he chose for practical reasons may be the one person who truly understands him. The biggest conflict is no longer whether they can fool the public, but whether they can keep pretending that everything between them is fake.
